Capability Brown and garden design

Garden design and landscaping have long been important in the UK. In the 18th century, Lancelot 'Capability' Brown designed the grounds of country houses so the landscape looked natural, with grass, trees and lakes. The annual Chelsea Flower Show showcases garden design from Britain and abroad.
