Terms of service
Who we are
Life in the UK Test 2026 (the website at https://www.lifeintheuktestrevision.co.uk and the companion mobile app) is operated by Vioscale Technologies Ltd. You can contact us at info@vioscale.co.uk. By using the website or the app you agree to these terms.
Independent study aid
Life in the UK Test 2026 is an independent study aid. It is not official, and we do not guarantee that you will pass the Life in the UK Test. Please always confirm current test requirements at GOV.UK.
Our content
All questions, study notes and explanations are original content written from publicly available facts and are owned by Vioscale Technologies Ltd. The official handbook is Crown copyright and is not reproduced here. You may use our content for your own personal study only. You may not copy, scrape, republish or resell it.
Accounts and acceptable use
Accounts on the website are optional. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access it in an unauthorised way, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
Website subscription
The optional Premium plan on the website costs GBP 1.99 per month. Payment is taken through Stripe and the subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, which you reach from your dashboard, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Your 14-day cancellation right
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content and get a refund. However, the subscription gives you immediate access to digital content. If you ask us to start the service straight away and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once it has begun, you will not be able to cancel for a refund once access has started. This does not affect your other legal rights, for example if the service is faulty or not as described.
Mobile app purchase
The mobile app is a one-time lifetime unlock bought through Google Play Billing on Android or the App Store on Apple. The store handles the payment. Refunds for the app purchase are handled under the terms and refund policies of Google Play or Apple, not directly by us.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the content accurate and the service available, but we provide it as is. We do not warrant that the content is complete or error free or that the service will be uninterrupted. The service is a study aid and not legal or immigration advice.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. So far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will update this page and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
