Waterloo and the Duke of Wellington (1815)

The wars with France ended in 1815 when the Duke of Wellington defeated the Emperor Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo. Wellington was known as the Iron Duke and later became Prime Minister.
Memory tip: Waterloo 1815. Wellington (the Iron Duke) beats Napoleon and later becomes PM.
