Booking and sitting the test at a test centre

Study note

The Life in the UK Test can only be taken at a registered and approved test centre, and there are around 60 of these across the UK. You can only book the test online. On the day you must bring identification and proof of your address, and without these you will not be allowed to sit the test. Different arrangements apply if you live on the Isle of Man or in the Channel Islands.

Memory tip: Book online, sit at an approved centre, bring ID and proof of address.
