Devolved governments

Study note

Some powers have been devolved (given) to national bodies. The Scottish Parliament sits in Edinburgh, the Welsh Parliament (Senedd) sits in Cardiff, and the Northern Ireland Assembly sits in Belfast. These deal with matters such as education and health in their nations.
